1. What Timber & Tackle is

Timber & Tackle provides booking software and a website for hunting and fishing guides (“Operators”). We are a software tool. We are not a party to any trip, hunt, or charter, and we do not provide guiding services. The Operator is solely responsible for their own business.

2. Operator responsibilities

You are solely responsible for holding and maintaining all licenses, permits, registrations, insurance, and tax obligations required to run your operation, and for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to you. Timber & Tackle does not verify, guarantee, or take responsibility for your licensing, permits, or legal compliance. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, prices, seasons, and policies.

3. Payments

We never take a percentage of your bookings. Trip payments flow directly from the client to your own connected Stripe account; we never hold your funds. Our only charge is the flat subscription you select. Deposits, balances, and cancellation terms are set by you and are between you and your client.

4. Client communications & consent

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining permission to contact your clients (including by text), and for honoring opt-outs. You agree not to use the platform to send unlawful, bulk, or unsolicited messages.

5. Your data

Your clients, bookings, and content are yours. You can export all of it at any time, including the day you leave. We will not sell or share your client list.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Timber & Tackle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any trip, dispute, injury, or loss arising between an Operator and their clients. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.

7. Cancellation

Cancel anytime. Monthly plans stop at the end of the current period; annual plans are refunded pro-rata. No retention friction.
