One flat fee. Your clock starts when your bookings start.

$29 a month, or $290 a year. No percentage of your trips, ever. Sign up anytime — we build your site free while you have time. $0 due today; your subscription starts the day you accept your first booking. Not before — the software doesn't bill you until it's put money in your hand.

Monthly or annual — that's the whole price list

Two ways to pay for the same thing. Every feature is in both; there is no higher tier holding your bookings behind it.

What the fee actually gets you

  • Your whole site, built for you

Send us your photos, your trips, and your old site if you have one. We build it and send you the link — before you pay anything.

  • Your own domain

Point the domain you already own at it, or start a new one. It's yours, and it leaves with you.

  • Online booking with deposits

Clients request a date, you accept, and the deposit goes into your own Stripe account. The balance settles on your terms.

  • A client list you own

Everyone who books, however they booked — phone, boat show, website. Export the whole list any time, including the day you leave.

  • Rebooking, reviews, and recaps

Post-trip photo recaps, review requests, and off-season win-back emails go out under your name, from your site.

  • Gift cards, field reports, a season calendar

Sell gift certificates direct, post reports that give you something to rank for, and show hunters and anglers when each species is on.

When billing starts

Free until your first booking.

Put your site up, import your customers, take requests, run your whole season on it — and pay nothing. The day you accept your first booking is the day billing starts. Not before.

Only guide part of the year? Pause the bill in the off-months — $0 while you're off the water, and your site stays live, still taking next season's bookings. You only pay the months you're actually guiding, and the day someone books, you're back on.

What you never pay

  • No commission. Not on a trip your site booked, not on one you booked yourself. Zero percent — the trip money is yours.
  • No fee on your client's bill. We add nothing at checkout, so the price they pay is the price you set.
  • No setup or build fee.The site gets built before you pay anything. That's the offer, not an upsell.
  • No exit fee, no lock-in. Your domain, your content, your client list — export it any time, including on your way out.

WHAT THE FLAT FEE PROTECTS

The fight is the product.
Every dollar of it is yours.

A client remembers that fish the rest of his life. He books it at the price you set, the money lands on your Stripe, and no percentage of that morning goes to software.

Put it in trips

One $800 booking through a 15% marketplace costs you $120 in commission. Three direct bookings a year and this has paid for itself. Everything after that is yours.

Keep your marketplace listing for the strangers it brings you — that's what it's good at. This is for everything you already own: your regulars, your referrals, the people searching your name, and the trips you book yourself.

We will never take a cut of a client you brought us.

Your regulars, your referrals, the people who searched your name — those are yours, and they always will be. One flat fee, and not a cent out of any booking you made yourself.

Later, when there are enough of us, we'll open a directory that sends guides real strangers — and if we ever earn you a booking that way, that's the only kind we'd ever ask a cut of. A marketplace takes its percentage on every trip it touches, including the ones you earned yourself. We won't, ever. That's the whole difference.

Founding guides — the first 50

Your first 3 months are free, and you lock today's rate for as long as you stay: $29/mo or $290/yr, never going up. A direct line to the founder while we build your site by hand.

Send another guide, you both get a free month.

Every guide has a referral link in his dashboard. Hand it to the guy you send your overflow trips to. He pays nothing until his first booking — and the day he takes it, a free month lands on his account and on yours. No cap, no points, no leaderboard: a month of guiding for a month of software.

Straight answers

How much does Timber & Tackle cost?
$29 a month, or $290 a year — about $24 a month, two months free. That is the whole price: no setup fee, no per-booking fee, no tier above it.
When does billing start?
The day you accept your first booking. Sign up in the off-season, get the site built, take requests, and pay nothing until a trip is actually on the books.
Do you take a commission on my bookings?
No. Not one percent, on any trip. Client money goes straight into your own Stripe account; our only revenue is the flat subscription.
Is a fee added to my client's bill?
No. Your price is your price. Nothing is added at checkout, so the number your client sees is the number you set.
What if I only guide part of the year?
Pause the bill in your off-months. The site stays live and keeps taking next season's requests, and you're back on the day someone books.
Can I cancel — and what happens to my site and clients?
Cancel any time, no phone call. The domain is yours, and you can export your full client list on the way out. Nothing is held hostage.

We build it first. You pay when it starts working.
