PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS
Put your booking link everywhere your name already is.
Your dashboard includes a Promote kit: ready-to-paste blocks built from your real trips, waters, and contact info. A Facebook post footer, a Google Business Profile description, an email signature, a one-paragraph blurb, a QR code for the boat — each one carrying your own booking link.
Most guides already have the audience — a Facebook page people actually follow, a Google listing clients leave reviews on, an email thread going with every booking, a card taped up at the marina. What's usually missing is the link. The catch photo gets 40 comments and none of those people know where to book; the Google profile still points at a dead site or nothing at all.
The Promote kit closes that gap with plain copy-paste. Open it and every block is already written from your own data — your business name, your species and waters, your town, your phone, your web address. Paste the footer under your next Facebook post, drop the description into your Google Business Profile, set the email signature once, print the QR code for the truck. Ten minutes of pasting, and every surface you already own points at your own booking page.
To be clear about what this is: it's distribution work you do, with tools we hand you. We don't buy ads, we don't send you leads, and nobody can honestly promise you a search ranking — this just makes sure that when people do find you, the link to book is right there.
A footer for every Facebook post
A short signature — your name, your town, 'Book direct' with your link, your phone — you paste under every catch photo, report, and open-dates post. The variant for web pages adds a one-line Timber & Tackle credit.
A Google Business Profile that's filled in
A description written from your real trips, sized to Google's 750-character limit — and since Google doesn't allow links in it, the kit hands you the Website-field value separately.
An email signature with your booking link
Plain text or formatted for Gmail and Outlook settings — every email you send hands the reader a way to book, with a subtle 'Site by Timber & Tackle' line.
A QR code for the physical world
Print-resolution PNG of your address for the boat, the truck, the ramp sign, business cards. A client standing in front of you scans it and they're on your booking page.
How it works
- 1
Open Promote in your dashboard
Every block is already built from your live data — trips, species, waters, town, phone, your web address. Nothing to write.
- 2
Copy and paste, surface by surface
Facebook About, post footer, Google description, email signature, a blurb for forums and the club newsletter, an HTML snippet for any site that lists you.
- 3
Print the QR code
Download the print-size PNG and put it where clients actually stand — the console, the tailgate, the card.
- 4
Forget about it
The blocks are rebuilt from your data every time you open the page, so a new phone number or a new trip is already in the next paste.
Why it matters
The clients you'll book next season mostly come from surfaces you already run: your Facebook page, your Google listing, your email, the guys at the club. Every one of those surfaces either points at your own booking page or it doesn't. This kit is the fastest honest way to make them all point home — no ad spend, no agency, no new channel to feed.
And every paste compounds the asset you own. A link on a club page, a footer under a post, a signature in a thousand emails — they all send people to your site, your brand, your client list. That's the home base doing its job.
Straight answers.
Does this find me customers?
No, and we won't pretend it does. We don't generate demand — no ads, no leads, no marketplace. The kit makes the audience you already have (your posts, your listing, your email) land on your own booking page instead of a dead end.
Will this get me ranked on Google?
Nobody can honestly promise a ranking, so we don't. What the kit does is mechanical: your name and your link show up in more places, consistently, and your Google listing is filled in properly. That's worth doing regardless of where any one search lands you.
What if some of my info is missing?
A block simply skips what you haven't set — no placeholder junk. Add your phone or waters in Settings and the blocks pick them up the next time you open the page.
What's the Timber & Tackle line in some blocks?
A one-line credit — 'Site by Timber & Tackle' — on the variants meant for web pages. It's optional, it's honest, and linking to us helps both our sites get found. The Facebook post footer leaves it off by default.
Do I need a custom domain first?
No. Your yourname.timberandtackle.guide address works in every block as-is — share it anywhere. If you connect your own domain later, the kit rebuilds every block around it automatically.
